KidsReads is a great place to find about about your favorite books, series, authors, books which have been made into movies, and what's new in paperbacks.

Children's Literature Web Guide -- Authors & Illustrators on the Web is a good resource for finding lots of author and illustrator web sites.

NoveList Icon is a great fiction database. Just narrow your search to teens, older kids, or younger kids, and you will find some great books. All you have to type in is a keyword (like part of the title or author last name). For a more sophisticated search, use Advanced Search.

In order to use this database, you will have to put in your library barcode number. This database is provided by Antigo's library system, Wisconsin Valley Library Service.

Fables and Tales

Aesop's Fables This site offers more than 600 fables and their morals by the famous Aesop, as well as fables by other authors. It also includes over 100 fairy tales by Hans Christian Andersen.
Grimm's Fairy Tales This site, developed by the National Geographic Society, is a colorful and exciting place where 12 fairy tales by Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm are brought to life.
